**My concept developed originally from a package being sent among the girls to evolving to a photographic solution with custom typography. 

PROBLEM:

The covers for the series were plain, outdated, and not engaging enough to catch the eye of of a contemporary teenage girl.
 

SOLUTION:

Design updated covers for the series that directly reference the young women, their travel, and the "magical" pair of blue jeans that they trade between them.
