Problem:
The covers for the series were plain, outdated, and not engaging enough to catch the eye of of a contemporary teenage girl.
Solution:
Design updated covers for the series that directly reference the young women, their travel, and the "magical" pair of blue jeans that they trade between them. My concept developed originally from a package being sent among the girls to evolving to a photographic solution with custom typography.
